Ariana Vincent, Professional Photographer

Photography has been a life-long passion for Ariana. She is a professional photographer and CEO of Ariana Images. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree and Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Degree from The University of Texas at Austin with a major emphasis in photography, photojournalism and the history of photography. Ariana owns and operates an independent photography business, Ariana Images, specializing in photographs of events, musicians, fine art photography, landscapes, portraiture, weddings, commercial photography, and photojournalism. She previously served as an assistant to Professor Helmut Gernsheim, founder of the Gernsheim Photography Collection housed at The University of Texas in Austin.

Ariana’s exhibitions include solo exhibitions at The University of Texas – Flawn Academic Center, Austin, Texas – “The Faces of France”; Martin Brothers, Austin, Texas – “Sacred Sites and Sanctuaries” and a retrospective exhibition at The Purple Plum, Austin, Texas. Group exhibitions include The University of Texas at Austin – Huntington Art Gallery; the Bois d’Arc Gallery, Austin, Texas with the Austin Visual Arts Association; Allen Street Gallery’s Third Sunday Exhibition, Dallas, Texas; and the Texas Photographic Society Group Exhibition at the Wunderlich Gallery, Austin, Texas.

Ariana studied fine art photography with Garry Winogrand; photo-journalism with J. B. Colson, commercial photography with Bob Solomon and the History of Photography with Helmut Gernsheim.

Ariana’s images have been published in the Ford Foundation brochure for the UT Art Department; The Daily Texan Newspaper; Within Reach, the newsletter of The American Massage Therapy Association, Texas Chapter; and MASSAGE Magazine.
